Trends in European integration as well as roles, interactions and economic control options of the system partners with a focus on Austria, Germany and Switzerland are conveyed. Students acquire management skills for managers in the social sector and deal with trends and specifics of the NPO sector, ethical concepts and their application in social work as well as intercultural aspects and special challenges such as crisis management and supervision. In this distance learning course, students work on current developments in the areas of digitization and data management in social management, medical and nursing developments, control and financing and other global developments affecting social work.

    The MBA - Digital Marketing and Management course provides students with deeper knowledge and understanding of the theoretical foundations and current developments in the field of digitization in marketing. The students get to know digital business models as well as agile marketing and management concepts, to examine them and to discuss them critically. One focus is on the instruments of digital communication and price policy, their application and evaluation. The students deal with concepts for smart products and services, the agile development of innovations and digital selling strategies and learn to critically assess these concepts, their application in practice and their effects. Digitization as a challenge for companies is also highlighted, as are methods and processes in the field of online research, including key topics such as big data, predictive analytics and customer insights, taking economic and ethical aspects into account.
